Portsmouth Commonwealth’s Attorney Earle Mobley is taking the case of the illegal Obama/Sessoms fliers before a grand jury for consideration of criminal charges.
The chief target of the grand jury? None other than Dave Iwans.
Who is Dave Iwans? Why, Virginia Beach Mayor Will Sessoms’ campaign manager, media consultant.
You know, it seems like just yesterday that Thomas Frantz, managing partner at the Williams Mullen/Billy Harrison/Terrie Suit law firm, was claiming that he had no idea who had distributed the illegal fliers in one of the law firm’s conference rooms, but he was 1000 percent certain it had nothing to do with blah blah woof woof. Meanwhile, the case against Madison County resident Leigh Purdum was nolle prossed. Apparently wearing a McCain t-shirt doesn’t pose such a clear and present danger to the survival of the Commonwealth after all. Thank you for standing up for the First Amendment, Leigh. You make us proud to be Americans.
And, not a moment too soon, private health insurance companies, faced with the realistic prospect of government health insurance, are seriously considering taking the drastic step of insuring sick people.
